Membership Terms and Conditions

 Pearls Networking Terms & Conditions

Any application for, or annual renewal of membership of Pearls Networking will be deemed to be made on the basis of these Terms and Conditions, which will govern the on-going relationship between the member, Pearls Networking and the Pearls Networking Group to which the member belongs.


If a member cannot attend a meeting they can arrange for a representative/substitute to attend in their place free of charge, having first emailed


Members may give up their membership at any time after joining, but no refund will be made on any remaining portion of the membership year.  If a member leaves the group without giving a calendar month’s notice their membership fees for that month will be payable. If membership ceases for whatever reason, the member’s details will be completely removed from the Pearls Networking website,


Membership fees at the level applied by Pearls Networking from time to time are payable annually by money transfer, cheque or cash.

Renewal notices will be sent out approximately one month before the renewal is due and payment must be received by the renewal date in order for the membership to continue.  If payment is not received within 14 days of the renewal date the membership may be terminated.

If a member wishes to terminate their membership, for whatever reason, the fees are not refundable.  If the membership is terminated by Pearls Networking, for whatever reason, fees are not refundable.

Meeting fees are payable monthly by direct debit at the levels applied by pearls networking from time to time.  Members must set up a direct debit at the start of their membership and make continuing payments as long as their membership is in force, regardless of attendance.  No refunds will be given, other than in the event that a meeting is cancelled by Pearls Networking, in which case the member will receive a meeting fee refund for that month.

Pearls Networking reserves the right to move a meeting to a new venue where necessary.  Venue choice is entirely at the discretion of Pearls Networking.

There will only be a meeting date or venue change when the circumstances are beyond our control.  Should the date change without adequate notice and within 3 weeks of the diarised meeting, thus preventing a Pearls Networking member from attending their monthly meeting, the member will receive a meeting fee refund. 


Pearls Networking will not be liable for failure to hold a monthly meeting if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.


In accordance with the requirements of the GDPR (May 2018), your opt-in preferences will be requested when you submit your membership for the Pearls Networking website.  You can change these at any time by informing


Pearls Networking or its members are not to be held responsible for the outcome of business or any other activity conducted between Pearls Networking members.  Each party should satisfy themselves as to the expertise and/or fitness of the other party to supply the service or product in question to an appropriate standard, and their qualification(s) to do so.
